- Supervise a workforce of associates engaged in:
- Receiving, transporting, and stacking supplies and finished goods.
- Order fulfillment and shipping.
- Maintaining stock records and inventory control.
- Plan, monitor, and communicate job results.
- Responsible for coaching, counseling, and recommending disciplinary action of team associates when necessary.
- Maintain quality and production standards in a cost-effective and efficient manner by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
- Ensure availability of finished goods and supplies by keeping accurate inventory and timely communication of any issues.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing associates in sustaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Establish positive communication with associates, supervisors, dispatchers, office manager, and plant manager.
- Organize the flow of external and internal trucks and trailers for efficient loading times and completion of open orders.
- Enforce housekeeping standards.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Three to five years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred.
- Experience in management of processes and process improvement.
- Understanding of safety practices and procedures.
- Previous experience in lean manufacturing/5S.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide numbers.
- Fluent in English. Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
